What's New?

Rieder Photography recently completed a new campaign for X Shadyside, the premiere fitness center in Pittsburgh. We deviated from the clean, smooth images of past campaigns, focusing on vintage carnival sideshow attractions. Everything was done in-house, from conception to photography to retouching to final design. We even hired Susan Wagner to paint custom backdrops for the project. Hope you like what you see.

Thursday, November 15th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm we are holding the first of many fund-raising efforts to preserve the Clemente Collection here at the studio of Rieder Photography. This is also the site of what will soon be the Clemente Museum.
Come peruse the prints, check out the most recent changes to the studio on the newly renovated second floor, and sample the latest vintage of the Engine House 25 Wine Cellar, among a few other wines.
We will be showcasing Clemente Prints as well as many other works. It's a great opportunity to find some incredible gifts for friends and relatives, or just treat yourself to a new piece for your home or office. Starting with your help here, we can make the Clemente Museum a reality.
Hope to see you there!

Rieder Photography had the pleasure of shooting Troy and Theodora Polamalu here in the studio for the September issue of Whirl Magazine. The Polamalus were genuinely kind and accomodating people, and made the shoot extremely comfortable and easy. They even stuck around for a glass of wine afterward. Look for photos on our website in the next few months.

Rieder Photography got some national press recently with a feature article in the June issue of Photo District News. The article was about unusual promotional items, and featured our recent wine and postcard promotion. If you haven't heard, we're delivering a handmade bottle of wine with a custom label and a set of postcards to prospective and current clients as an introduction, thank you, self promotion, etc. It's done a great job of driving traffic to our website. We'll post a link to the article when it becomes available online.
Are you an art buyer, art director, designer, creative director, photo editor, etc. interested in receiving a promotional package? Drop us a line at duane@riederphotography.com for details.
